This weekend I had to work at the sandy amphitheater for the show Richard Marx. I actually really like his songs, hold on to the night, endless summer nights, and right here waiting for you. I know cheesy. I found this picture of him when he was back in the 80's. Classic picture. Now here is a picture of him now. He looks so much better and his singing sounds great.
Ok so I have slacked on the blog postings, but I have some fun things I've been up to. First off I haven't been impressed by this years So you think you can dance. The choreography hasn't been the best and I didn't really connect with any of the dancers. Then last night I watched and really liked the dance by Chelsie and Mark. It was done to the song bleeding love by Leona Lewis. I loved the choreography and how they danced. Here is the youtube video of it. LOVED IT!!!!
Next is that I went to the Jordan Sparks concert in Orem with some friends. My friend got free tickets and I was able to go. Of course, being in Orem, someone got engaged at the concert. Totally Orem. It made me laugh.
I have been so lucky by having friends win tickets to concerts. This year I have been to the Lifehouse and One Republic concerts. Included in the prize package, we were able to meet the band. So thank you to those wonderful friends who invited me. Then I got to meet the band Augustana at the Graywhale music store when they were in town. I got an autograph. This has a been a great year of free concerts and I have met plenty of celebrities.
Finally something to look forward to is that my sister won Coldplay tickets to the concert in November. I'm sorry her other friend couldn't go, but glad that I get to spend that time with my sister. Thanks LISA!!!!! (all I hear is blah blah blah your the best)
Ok, so this morning on MTV I saw the new music video for New Kids on the Block. It started out ok, but then it was all the new kids dancing on this island with all these girls and it made me laugh. I think their trying to bring back the backstreet boys and Nsync kind of look. It's a really good song, but the video just makes me laugh. So here's to you NKOTB! By the way I want to go to their reunion tour. I know crazy!!!!
Hey friends just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be working at the sandy ampitheater this summer again. There are some pretty good shows happening. The first show is this friday night at 7. It's Ryan shupe and the rubber band. They put on a really good concert last year. Here is the linkto Sandy ampitheater's upcoming shows. By the way don't buy tickets online at Smith Tix. They have a huge service charge. If you want tickets get them through the box office it's only a dollar charge.
