Young @ Heart

Yesterday night I went to a free movie premier for the movie Young @ Heart. It is about a group of people between the ages of 65-93 years old. They are in a singing group called young at heart. The group tours around singing songs from all genre's. I went thinking this was going to be all comedy, but in the end I actually enjoyed it. It made me realize that I want to be that way when I am their age. I think the singing keeps them young and active. In the documentary 2 of the choir members pass away 2 weeks before the concert. Each of them had a duet to perform with another choir member. The partners of these duets had to perform the song alone. One song that a man sang was Fix you by Coldplay. He dedicated the song to his friend, the one who passed away. It was such a sweet song. I hope you enjoy.

Happy Birthday Molly

Today is my good friend Molly's Birthday. She is such a wonderful person. I am glad she is my friend. Molly and I have had some good times. There are the late night Slurpee runs, eating harry potter jelly beans on new years eve, modeling photo shoots, Liar Liar laughing moments, and those good ole Lifetime movie nights.... Molly thank you for being my friend and for all the memories. You are the best. I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

Who's excited about Twilight!!!!

Everyone knows by now that I love the Twilight series. I have read it twice. (I know I'm weird.) I can't wait till the movie comes out. Even though it's not real, it is still fun to read a book and enjoy it. I am not really a reader. When I read a book it has to be interesting. If I start the book and can't get into it by the 4th chapter I'm done. I get bored and move on to other things.

A funny thing about twilight is that I was not going to read the book. A former co-worker was reading it and I made fun of her. I thought it was funny that she was reading a book about vampires. Little did I know that this book would be my all time favorite book. The co-worker knows who she is and I want to apologize for making fun of you reading the book. Your the best and it was fun to see you today.

Today I looked on the Twilight's web page. It had a little sneak peak of what the movie is all about. You get to see who is going to play Edward and Bella. Hope you enjoy!!!! I know I did.....

Museum adventure in South Jordan

Yesterday, on my day off, I went to spend some time with my nieces and nephews. We went to a museum located in South Jordan. I have never been there before and was surprised what was all in there. It is a free museum that talks about South Jordan's history. Above is a couple of pictures I was able to pull offline because I did not have my camera to capture the moment. (this happens all the time) There was one area we learned about the mining of Kennecott. Another center was called river of life. You get to see all the medical advances made by people in Utah. There is also some fun antiques and a grocery store for the kids to play in. My nieces and nephews loved it. Does anyone remember going to the Children's museum and playing in the store?? I always thought that was so much fun. Everyone would fight over the cash register. I loved it!! The center also has a place to play school. We had a really good time. I am not a museum type of person, but it turned out to be lots of fun. Thanks for going kris, brittany, amber, gavin, and zackie!!!

So you think you can dance?

Ok, I got super excited last night by seeing a preview for the new season of so you think you can dance. I wait all year to see this reality show. I have been a fan for all 3 seasons, but my favorite season was season one with Nick Lazzarini. He was amazing. I picked him from the beginning to win. Here is a preview of one of his solos from season one.

Tonight my friend and I were watching American Idol gives back. Guess who was in the opening number??? Oh, Yes it was past contestant from all the seasons of so you think you can dance. How cool was that!!!! I haven't seen Nick for a whole year and there he was. Just so you all know

So you think you can dance begins on May 22nd. Mark the calendars and enjoy the beat!

My friend aitb and I went to a new Chinese restaurant tonight. Panda express has not been replaced, but may loose it's rank after tonight. We had some great food, good service, and life changing fortunes (well at least mine was). Sorry amy! I have decided to take a trip to Vegas next month and have wondered if I could afford the trip. My friend and I have a thing that when we open the fortune cookie it has to pertain to something were doing right now. I decided the fortune would have to be related to our upcoming trip. My fortune said,

"You will soon be crossing desert sands for a fun vacation."
Could it be anymore obvious??? The trip is on!!!!!!!
(also my lucky numbers are 28,36,34, 35, 10, and 9)

Love Reps!!!!

At my job we see a lot of Reps from different places. They come in, usually do a lunch, and give us free samples. They are the best. Today a rep came in and handed me and my co-worker a $25 gift certificate to Black Angus Steakhouse. How nice is that. All we do is send people to their place to get MRI'S. Talk about great service at Salt Lake MRI.

Sing Star Party

I have a new favorite activity that I play almost every weekend. On Friday night I went to my friends house and we played singstar. It was so much fun. It is just like Karaoke, but I think it's better. You can compete against each other and see who is the best singer. We played it for 2 hours and didn't make it through all the songs on the CD. If you get a chance to play it you should. There is a singstar in all of us!!!!
