Happy Birthday to me! My family has done it again. They surprised me with a Twilight themed birthday party. It was so much fun. We celebrated tonight with a wonderful dinner of roast, potatoes, salad, creamed corn, pretzel jello, and yummy rolls. My family invited some of my friends over for dinner/cake and ice cream. I got some wonderful gifts from my friends. The pictures below will show you. ENJOY!

HSM party

This past weekend one of my friends daughter had a High school musical party. The little girl, madi, asked me to come to her party. I can never turn down a HSM party. Trisha had 18 little wildcats running around. She did an excellent job in keeping them entertained. We had face painting, basketball, pin the wildcat on troy, and many other fun games. Of course I had to bring Zac to the party. It's just not a HSM party without the main wildcat. Thanks Madi for having me. I hope you had a great Birthday!

Concerts

This month I have been able to go to 2 concerts for Free. What could be better than that! At the beginning of February a friend and I won tickets to go see Katy Perry in concert. It was a pretty good concert. Katy was a lot better than I thought she was going to be. Here are some pictures from the night.

The group. Kyle, laura, brett, me, and random girl in the back.

Now on to the concert I went to this morning. My friend brett won tickets to have breakfast with Elliott Yamin (american idol season 5 runner-up). He wasn't able to go so he gave the tickets to my friend amy and she took me. I have Elliott's first Cd and love it. There were only about 10 people that won tickets to meet him. He sang 4 songs for us, took pictures, and signed autographs. I was so impressed on how nice he was. He totally took the time to sign the autographs, especially when I had him sign a couple of cd covers for other friends. He also does really good singing live. The funny/scary part of the concert was this stocker girl that came from Michigan to see him. Amy said she has been at other concerts of Elliott when he was here in Utah. To go to meet Elliott you had to win on the radio. Well apparently not for her. She told the lady that she came all the way from Michigan to see him. They totally let her come with us. Crazy! Well she got her autograph and picture. She asked him for a huggie picture. He looked a little nervous. jk Then before she left she handed him a note. I wish I could see him open the letter that would of been so funny. Wow, what people will do for a celebrity..... Here are the pictures of the morning.

What a Month!

Wow I haven't blogged in forever. Sorry about that. Life has been crazy with full-time school and work. I haven't even thought about blogging, but tonight I needed a break from studying so time to blog. This past month has been busy with concerts, staying with the nieces/nephews, and meeting an American idol runner-up.
First off I stayed with Kristine and kids while Jeff was away with the Guard. We had lots of fun. It's been forever since I lived there. It was nice to go back and hangout with everyone. I got to help Brittany with her homework, which will really help me prepare for being a teacher. Some of the math was hard. It has been forever since I have done elementary math. Let's just say that I'm glad Jeff is home to help her with the harder math!!! Other news with the nieces and nephews. I got to pick up Zack from his first day of preschool. He is just so little. Below is a picture of him with his backpack. He was so excited to go and wear his spider man pj's. They had a pj party for class. The teacher even dressed up in pj's and pigtails. What a way cute teacher!

Zac with his backpack. The girls put his blanket in his bag so it's nice and big for him.

Gavin had to get a picture to!

After picking Zack up we took Gavin and Hudson to the park to play while Lisa was working. The boys are so cute playing together.
For some reason Hudson doesn't like going on the grass. We all of a sudden looked back and he was waiting there for someone to come get him.

Gavin to the rescue. What a great Cousin!
