Twilight.......
Just Kidding!!!! It's not the movie twilight this time. Not every post is about Twilight, ok sometimes. The reason for the title Twilight is that there is a new band my friend introduced me to a couple weeks ago called Thriving Ivory. One of their songs is called Twilight. I fell in love with this song.
After my friend told me about this group I heard on 101.9 the end saying they were going to get the band Thriving Ivory out here for a concert. So of course I called my friend and we got tickets. I loved the concert. Here are 4 great things I loved about the concert.
2. The concert was only $5. You can't beat that.
4. We met the band, got autographs, and pictures. Yummy band members!!! This picture is from left to right, Drew (guitar), Bret (bass), and Clayton (vocals). They were such a nice band to talk to. They are still starting out so they actually take time to talk to you and sign autographs/pictures. All I can say again is Yummy! I got a hug with Paul the drummer, but I didn't get a shot of that one. It was kind of funny how it happened. I went up to him and said great job come again. He shook my hand and said let's hug it out. Man that was classic! I can't believe the band is still smiling in this picture. We talked to them after they had been signing autographs for an hour. Great band if you want a fun concert.
Here are some other pictures I got at the concert.

This is the music video of twilight. Sorry just ignore the lady talking. Can't find a better youtube clip. Does this get anyone excited for twilight the movie???? K I'm done being obsessed.

Random post
As you can see on my blog I find lots of random clips. For some reason the other night I was looking on youtube. I remembered that my sister and I liked this band called worlds apart. I decided to see if they had a music video. Of course youtube delivered. In 1997, yes that's 1997, I taped the world music awards. I don't know what I was thinking, but these guys had a song on the award show. I loved the song and had to show my sister Lisa. So if you like music from other countries or like hot guys here is your song......lol

More of ZAC
Ok, I found this last night on youtube. I'm really excited for this movie to come out. It's just like the movie BIG with Tom Hanks, but a updated version. The name is SEVENTEEN. It has Zac Efron and Matthew Perry. What a great pair. Enjoy the preview.

Happy birthday/boss's day
Yesterday was my boss's birthday and it was boss's day. In honor of his birthday we went to lunch at this restaurant. The food was so good. The best part is that it's Oktoberfest so everyone was dressed up in German attire. It was great!
Our cute x-ray tech brought in balloons, posters, and this inflatable birthday cake to decorate the office. She has so many fun things for special event and holidays. You should see her house on a holiday. She goes all out.
My boss is actually a family friend and two years ago I got a call. They needed a new front desk person and I was asked if I wanted the job. This job has been so great for me. Because of my boss I have been able to go to school. That has been a blessing. I just wanted to give a shout out to my boss and tell him thank you for all you do for me. I have had the best time working here and grateful for the opportunity to work for you. Thank you for all the free lunches. This past 2 years I have gone to more new restaurants than I ever would have if I didn't work here. Thanks again! You're the best!!!!

Ellen
Ok so I just love Ellen. Everytime I watch her show she cracks me up. Today I taped her show and she did this joke with Dennis Quaid. She made him walk into a star bucks coffee shop and he had to say everything she told him. What a good sport. It might not make you laugh, but it sure brightened up my day. GO ELLEN!!!!

Tew's Blessing
Today I had the opportunity to go to one of my missionary companions baby blessing. It's so nice to still be apart of my missionary friends events. Julie has become one of best friends and I'm so proud of all she has accomplished. She has married a wonderful man and now has this beautiful baby to care for. She will be the best mom. The baby's name is Heath and he is so cute. Thanks Julie's for letting me come be apart of this special event. Here is a picture of the family.
This is me being silly after the blessing. It was snowing and my friend amy wanted a picture of the snow. We were some crazy wildcats in Kaysville.

Look who I saw.....
The other night, while I was suppose to be at school, I went and saw Jon McLaughlin perform at a graywhale store. First off he is an amazing singer and second he is way cute. When artist perform at a small venue it's the best time to see them. They are thankful for their fans and take the time to sign autographs for you. My friend Amy and I went to see Jon. He sang about 5 songs and then sighned autographs. I got a poster signed, a cd cover signed, and a picture. He was so nice. Here is the pictures and a youtube clip of my favorite song of his.
Here is the VIDEO. Enjoy!!!

Look what I just found.....I'm getting so excited
I don't know why I'm so addicted to this book and movie. It's kind of fun to have something to look forward to. I'm a little scared that they have hyped it up so much that it might not reach the expectations. I think the movie is going to be really cheesy, but still fun to see.
Here is also the playlist for the movie:
1. Muse — Supermassive Black Hole
2. Paramore — Decode
3. The Black Ghosts — Full Moon
4. Linkin Park — Leave Out All The Rest
5. MuteMath — Spotlight (Twilight Mix)
6. Perry Farrell — Going All The Way (Into The Twilight)
7. Collective Soul — Tremble For My Beloved
8. Paramore — I Caught Myself
9. Blue Foundation — Eyes On Fire
10. Rob Pattinson — Never Think (Edward sings? this will be interesting)
11. Iron & Wine — Flightless Bird, American Mouth
12. Carter Burwell — Bella's Lullaby
So Halloween is coming up and I still don't have a costume to wear to work. It's so hard to come up with a cool costume. My question is what should I go as for Halloween or give me some ideas. I was thinking of a vampire, hsm freak, or pirate. I need help.........

Step by Step....oh baby....Gonna get to you girl....
Ok so I love winning stuff, who doesn't. It's kind of become addicting. There are four of us that are always looking for new things to enter and win. Last month a friend and I won the Dvd and soundtrack to the movie, ''American Mall" Mtv produced it and it was filmed at the Provo mall. Kind of a funny movie. My next contest has been trying to win NKOTB tickets (New kids on the block). I know I'm weird. After trying for a month to win them I finally gave up. I didn't know if they would sell out so I decided to buy them. Lisa and I we're going to buy them last Thursday, but lucky for me Wednesday afternoon I got an email that said I won. WOW that was pure luck....... this will be such a fun night even though it's on Lisa's anniversary sorry Paul. I'll watch Hudson another night for ya.
Here is their new song called, "single" featuring Ne-yo. Love it. Also Lady Gaga and Natasha Bedingfield are coming with NKOTB. Sure to be a fun concert.

Mission Reunion Time
All the sisters who attended.
Sister's on a p-day at Wakkula Springs. If you're ever in Tallahassee this is the place to see the alligators. They have a boat that takes you out on a lake with the alligators in the water or on the land.
The sister's on transfer day. All these sister's are great. Thanks for the memories.

The sister's planned a early morning b-day surprise for me. Can you tell we had tons of fun? Yea, this was at 6:00 in the morning. It was a blast.
And finally the sister's at the Caruther's home. They were a senior couple that helped with the mission. They loved having the missionaries over for lunch and you always left with a Marvin Goldstein cd. The Caruther's have both past on. I'm so happy I had the chance to meet them.
